MEASURE
Before we train anything, we measure what is actually happening.
The Athletic Golf Project will use some of the most advanced technology available to build a complete picture of how each golfer moves, produces force, delivers the club and creates ball flight.
ELVA brings markerless 3D motion capture into the assessment process, allowing us to analyze the golf swing in three dimensions without covering the player in sensors. It represents the next generation of biomechanical analysis, and we are fortunate to have a relationship with Dr. Rob Neal, one of golf’s most respected biomechanics experts and a leading voice behind the technology.
TrackMan gives us world-class club and ball-flight data. Smart2Move force plates show us how the golfer interacts with the ground and produces force throughout the swing.
And through the Titleist Performance Institute's body-swing connection assessments, we identify whether a swing pattern may be influenced by the way the body moves away from the golf club — mobility, stability, strength and movement capabilities included.
The goal is not to collect data for the sake of data.
It is to measure the golfer, understand the golfer, and know exactly what deserves to be trained next.
Then we move to TRAIN.
